This is a video of a fertile egg on day 3 of incubation. Notice at the very beginning the first second or two of the video you can see a tiny air cell on the left side of the egg.

You can't see the air cell in a brand new egg. It takes a while...a week or so before you will notice an air cell area. It's almost always in the fat end of the egg too.
