2nd hatch was from my hens LO and a friends hen EE and OE and yes 1, 2 or 3 from each group had losses. 3rd hatch my daughters bantams and two different variety of breeds from a show pure bred flock of Orpingtons had several losses as well.

I’m new but I really think it’s the hatching not the eggs because of the 3 different ones I’ll loose two or three eggs per group or breed but the others will be fine!

It’s in the center on about 2/3rds to the top of the egg maybe not completely to the top

Some from our own fertile hens, friend’s hens with a great hatch rate, and then shipped in. The shipped ones are actually doing the best 🤣

I have a Govee hygrometer/ thermometer in the incubator that is connected to Bluetooth that sends its to my phone!

Yes thoroughly cleaning incubator turning on 24 hours in advance before eggs are in. No I don’t wash eggs. Yes the turner is working,I check periodically and catch it usually atleast once a day.

It dipped 3 times in 5 days to 36.7C the rest of the time was 37/37.5 C

Yes the incubator is off 10% on the humidity and correct on temp, and I tested the temp of the separate thermometer/ hygrometer not sure how to test the humidity

The hygrometer/thermometer reading said between 98.5/99.5 over a 7 day period!

The hygrometer has a thermometer as well

I have a friend that lives in the same area and she said that she drowns hers if she keeps it that high. I’m not sure if the climate has anything to do with it. We are in Georgia where it’s super humid even in the winter.
