Yea. It definitely looks more black though than gray especially with a few coats

It’s a satin black called cracked pepper. We wanted the coop to match the house then we went with the black to be a bit different and so it wouldn’t stick out too much in the yard. And we found black chicken wire too for the whole enclosure.

We built this for a flock of 3 that we rescued and added two chicks. We only have the 5 which is fine as it’s all been learning along the way. I didn’t know a damn thing about chickens when I agreed to take them last summer lol

Yea we tried to make the whole set up solid so that it lasts many years and holds up in all weather

The inside of our coop it’s our first and we were winging it. It’s not terrible to clean I just rake everything out but if we do another one I’d def like one I can walk into.
