You can't control their destiny ... all you can do is provide them the best life you can while they are in your care. Even birds destined for freezer camp have it pretty good. They have a nice easy life ... then one really bad minute. Kinda like the rest of us, if we're lucky!
It's not breeding birds that's the problem ... they tend to pretty much take care of that themselves, ya know ... it's finding homes for all the other extra cockerels you'll end up with that becomes the issue. Unless, of course, you have a nice freezer. Then those extra cockerels come in pretty...
