I did have to help one of the Lavenders that was upside down and glued in. Any advice for getting all the sticky stuff off it still hasn't fluffed up like the others. The feathers look wet but are hard. I did run warm water over its back to get the stuck shell but it's still feels hard.

I just found a wild turkey chick wandering around my chicken coop without it's mama... I fear a coyote or fox must've gotten her because I haven't ever seen the chick without the mama. I have it in a dog crate in the run does anyone know if I can raise it with my chicks? It will not last alone...

Awesome!!! I am trying to get my Lavender crew established. The first 2 I hatched had no beards and muffs so I'm hoping they are girls and that I at least get a cockeral and a couple of pullets from this hatch

I candled too. Today is Day 7 for me. Out of 26 4 blood rings, 2 clears.

No plugs... I'm gonna check when I get home to see if the sponge and pop corn worked.

How? There's no water in there now. I just stuck a new bone dry sponge in there to see if it'll help... I still have the popcorn in there too...

Ok so I'm not terribly outside of the range... Temps have been holding well. My last hatches I kept the humidity between 35-45 no problem but that was during the nice Spring weather... @bamadude do you have AC? Is that how you keep the humitiy low? I don't have AC

Any advice on getting humidity down in humid weather? It has been staying between 48-56. I had filled the wells less than halfway when I set on Sunday but I just checked and they're empty now. I currently have popcorn cernals in halves of plastic Easter eggs in the turner...
