Well,it's been 4 days since the first treatment. Haven't seen anymore worms thankfully. But before I noticed the worms we were getting around 5-6 eggs a day from 16 laying hens. I didn't think too much of it, some of the girls are getting older, some are molting, and we are getting into shorter...
Ok. They all got their first dose. Holy crap they were hard to catch. I have 24 and the last 7 gave me a good workout. I checked their poop from last night and a few poops had worms so I'm just treating them all. Will repeat in 10-14days.
Going to pick up the meds today. Got it for curbside. Once I get back I'll treat each one (wish me luck) I also have wood chips ready to add in so I'll go ahead and do that today also. Busy day ahead of me.
I don't think I could narrow it down. I have 24 birds in a 1800 sq ft run. I'd have to watch each bird poop. The worms were moving when I first saw it but I believe the chicken had just pooped as it wasn't there when I went into the run.(it was right in front of the door and dark poop which made...
Oh that's good news about the poop. Not too worried about the squirting. We had to give tylan when they all got MG. That was fun. Good thing is the big girls don't move as fast. Bad thing is I have young ones who do move fast. Time to put the kids to work 😂
