    Mine usually sits between 50-60%. If it gets higher, I open the door for a while during the day and add more bedding material and stir it around. Always seems to do the trick!

    The cold usually isn't the problem, but the humidity. Especially if you heat your coop.

    Hello! From Montana, as well (SW). Agree with the above. Little bit of frostbite on him. Do you have a hygrometer in your coop? That helps me to keep the humidity in check. I bought an inexpensive hygro/thermometer on Amazon.
