    They will make a nest sort of even to just lay not necessarily to hatch a brood of eggs. I collect at the end of the day giving everyone opportunity to lay ducks usually lay early morning but I have chickens who lay up into the day.

    The eggs my Runners came from are broody’s For sure but mine never have shown the least inclination which is okay with me I have Muscovy lol

    Not all Runner ducks go broody mine never have but I can honestly say they are great egg layers

    I didn't count all the eggs my Runners laid their first year but I can tell you it was more than 30 they laid straight for 18 months. Then took a short 2 month break and started back again.
