We have no avian vets but I was able to find a reg vet in the next county over from us who would see my duck. Thankfully, the 2 in our town don’t. Sometimes you have to be your own vet.

Mine will swim in the cement mixing tub and have no problems with it. What you have will be fine over winter. You can see they aren't picky lol

Any way you can add some kind of drain system? When we get a lot of rain and around the bucket area gets yucky I put white vinegar into the water buckets to clean them and pour that water over the area I want to clean up. It does help and it’s safe for the birds.

That's nice mulch. When I think of mulch I think of the big pieces that usually come in bags. That you showed @Runner duck mom is more like shredded. Much easier on the feet.
