    Have a bucket or broom with you and when he comes at you put one or the other between yo and him, I have used the broom alot to push my gander away. I will also make him back away as i walk towards him and I am 5'3" and weigh well... I'm not a big person. I won't hit my geese though.

    I think thats why they are used as watch geese, their loudness and they can be mean. I can only go by what I've heard though since I have never met any Chinese in person. Would love to though.

    You know you need to post some pics of your geese, We love to see pics. and I always know when my gander is mating, he announces it to the whole county.

    My gander doesn't talk he hollers at all hours of the night, I never hear the goose only the gander. They have their own safe sleeping quarters so other than he just likes to hear himself scream there is no reason for it.
