Oh for sure, we kept them in their indoor/nighttime enclosure in the garage for days because I was concerned the fox would come back and it did, several times. We're working on extra protection for them

Has anyone's ducks body shivered when in the water?

Yeah the vet said I should go down within 3 weeks or so. Yes she definitely is uncomfortable to a point, between her leg being sore from injury above it and blowing up like a blimp she has a hard time for sure trying to keep up with the other ducks

Has anyone's ducks body shivered when in the water?

One has superficial wounds and his wings sag also after being in the water but didn't notice shivering. The female who shivers has puffiness on her back they said is sub-cutaneous emphysema, it is due to damage to an air sac, lung or trachea and it will resolve on its own.

Has anyone's ducks body shivered when in the water?

Has anyone's ducks body shivered when in the water? This isn't due to excitement. She was attacked by a fox on Saturday and saw vet this morning. She's been limping and wanted to alleviate some stress on her leg. Her wings also start to droop after getting wet and she flutters them up and down.
