Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

I see! I've now looked at their backs and taken a few pictures, and I only saw pin feathers on the two black chicks, 2 and 3. I tried spreading the back feathers on the others but couldn't see any pins on them.. 1. 2. (3 above, 2 below) 3. 4. 5. And a little side note...

Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

Interesting! I haven't heard of that technique, but I'll definitely take a closer look and see what I can find! :D Will only cockerels have these pin feathers along their backs? Or will the pullets have them too but have more rounded feathers coming in instead of a cockerels more pointy...

Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

They are now 7,5 weeks, and I love watching them developing. It seems some of them are getting more rosy faces, but it seems to fluctuate quite a bit, when I come with food they have really flushed red faces, and when they're calm it seems to be more faded. Is this normal? Here's an example of...

Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

Thank you. I got worried cause I don't know what the equivalent of the rooster color look like in hens.. I don't think I've seen a hen with the red feathers on the back. but I'm very new to chickens so I'm sure I haven't seen much in the ways of chicken colors  Yes love watching...

Okay so a little update.. I just went out to them and noticed something on 2 and 3... 2. 3. Am I looking at some colorful feathers growing on their backs? Is that a surefire way to tell they're cockerels or are there exceptions? :hit Their mothers are blue and father blue with some...

Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

Ohhh you've made my day!! :celebrateOf course I'll wait a few more weeks before I get too comfortable with the thought of them being pullets, but just that you think that all of them might be pullets instead of just the initial two I was on the fence about is so damn amazing to hear. I'll hold...

Is there a chance any of these 6 week old Liege Fighters is a pullet?

So my babies are now 6 weeks, and while I was quite hopeful in the beginning that at least a couple of them could be pullets, it feels like my hopes are now diminishing every day. I've been quite certain for a while that 1, 2 and 3 must be cockerels, they've always been the biggest, have big...
