I just wanted to let everyone know that it must be a myth that roosters have to stand up to crow. I remember some suggestions on this thread about putting a rooster in a small kennel at night so he couldn't stand up enough to crow and annoy the neighbors. The advice about relocating your roo at night sounds like the best option. We have air-cleaners running in our bedrooms that drown out crowing or BARKING DOGS (much worse than crowing!) You could purchase an air cleaner or fan for your neighbor as an offer of compromise.- Mother2Hens
