I think I found somebody on BYC that I'm gonna get some from.

Aw man!!! I can't seem to find any hatcheries in Texas that hatch button quail chicks. If I had a broody hen, I might could buy some hatching eggs to put under her but I don't have one at the moment.

So should I cut a hole is the box? I wanted to start out with chicks, but hardly anybody has them for sale. So I may have to go with adults.

Thanks, so would the box work okay for a pair of buttons? I'm am planning on breeding them, but I gotta find a place the sells them in Texas first!

Oh, I have another quick question for ya: I have a big plastic box that has a lid that opens up, it's pretty big and I was wondering if I could keep a pair of buttons in there? Would it be big enough? Also what do I feed them and what about water? How often do they go broody and what ever else...
