I vote for the relish tray too with all sorts of raw veggies. Seems like we get so much "treat" type stuff this time of year, the fresh simple things taste especially good. Plus it's easy to prepare and transport...a win/win!

Hmm, mincemeat is kind of interesting to read about. Recipes still exist from the 15th century. According to Wikipedia, here's one from the 16th century:

Not too sure bro is just kidding. There was some sort of ground meat in Grandma's pie, along with raisins and other stuff. She always used lard for everything but that was for pie crusts, frying stuff, etc. Not 100 percent sure what all she made her mincemeat from but I do know...nothing you can...
