When I bring up the photos through the links, they start off huge but in a few seconds shrink down to viewing size. My laptop is an old crusty thing, I figure it's not as fast as the newer ones. Maybe that's why the photos load like that?

This thread is about the photo contest for the 2016 BYC chicken calendar. The contest is over and the calendar is available in the BYC store. There were some beautiful pictures entered for consideration but only 13 could be used in the calendar. Being one of the lucky 13 took a lot of talent...

My cousin has 2 Cairn Terriers and they are fun little dogs. One of her dogs is wheaten and the other black. I believe Toto from the Wizard of Oz was a Cairn.

Westies are white. In fact their full name is "West Highland White Terrier". Wonderful breed, active, loyal, playful, smart. They're also stubborn, once they get an idea in their head, it's hard to distract them. Their grooming needs are minimal and they hardly shed at all. She wasn't a lap...
