I would get them again (I've had three "groups" over the years), but I'd get females again and I'd either go with good breeder rats or raise feeders from babies. The males I've gotten are too skittish and stinky for my taste. :rolleyes:
I have rats! They lost one of their cage-mates a while back so they didn't need that large of a cage. The other quickly growing creature certainly did need the space though.
Ha! I used that for their first day because I knew the temperatures were correct (I usually use it for another creature who needs heat). I now have their box set up with the proper temperatures, though they may get moved back to the Critter-Nation when they get too big for their XL "Moving box".

Personalities:
Pancake and Namentuppen are the sweetest. They don’t fuss too much. Pancake is the most food driven of the group. Namentuppen is the smallest and most shy. Loves food but won’t fight for it.
Sage is sweet but LOUD when she’s handled. Also loves food.
Buck is a wild one...
I just picked up these four “bantam” chicks from TSC, but I don’t know what breeds they are (besides knowing they’re not Silkies). Any ideas? They all have 4 toes and have feathered legs/feet.
