Please help; hatchery fiasco…10 unknown chicks!!

In that case, "pullets from ____ Hatchery, breeds unknown" would be accurate (for the ones where you are sure they are pullets, of course. Otherwise they would be "cockerels from....") :)

You could say something like "pullets from McMurray Hatchery Rare Breed Assortment" (or whatever hatchery and assortment name are actually correct.)

Not really a master at breeds, just someone who has spent too many hours drooling over hatchery websites, and can work methodically through a list of traits to see what matches :) Check back on that after she starts laying :D Even Leghorns tend to have relatively small combs when they are young...

Maybe a Silver Leghorn? (Should have yellow legs.) Or maybe they are two of a kind, but one has the wrong leg color for its breed. That happens sometimes. As regards the size difference, it could mean different breeds, but it might not. It is common for some to be bigger than others, even if...

She is a Silver Spangled Hamburg. She just has a bit more black in her spangling than the ones on the McMurray site. Silver Spangled Hamburgs do have blue legs. That is mentioned in the McMurray description too. Silver Spangled Hamburgs have rose combs, which she does. Her comb will get bigger...

That works. If you don't want male or female, no point in waiting to be sure of which it is

Yes, I think that is a rose comb, which should mean Dominique. Although I think I see white on the feet (Dominque should have yellow.) White feet would mean Marans or Olive Egger, except that a rose comb is wrong for both of those. I suppose it could be some new breed they have just started...

The chick in the 6th pic of the first post is probably a Dominique, because it appears to have a rose comb. A Barred Rock would have a single comb.

Given the coloring and the dark feet, plus I think I see a single comb: I think you are probably correct. If the comb was pea, it would probably be an Easter Egger. I can't see the foot color, but Silver Leghorn seems likely (especially if the feet are yellow.) I think Silver Leghorn is more...

Probably female, because of the breast color (taken in conjunction with the rest of the color/pattern.) Still has the single comb and I think the feet look yellow. Standard size, not bantam, right? I wonder if you have a Silver Leghorn: https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/silver_leghorns.html...

For the first one, I do still think Silver Spangled Hamburg is likely. It has the rose comb, dark feet, and a white-and-black pattern. The proper spangled pattern can take a while to show up (some colors of chicken have one pattern when they are young and a different one as they get older, and I...

In that case, I think I may see a male Bielefelder (light spot on head, shades of brown in other parts of the down: but it appears to have green feet, which is not right for the breed, so either it is not a Bielefelder, or else the hatchery needs to improve their breeding stock.) A Cream Legbar...

Which hatchery? Were the Bielefelders supposed to be males or females or straight run? You might have a Silver Spangled Hamburg: 2nd photo, gray chick, flat little rose comb. I am very sure about the rose comb, pretty sure it's something silver (not gold or red or black), not very sure about...

Can you give the complete list of what you ordered? That may help with sorting out some of them.
