    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

I don't think #3 is EE at all, single comb yellow legs. I think #2 is RIr since the tail is starting to show some black in it.

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

the last two chicks have yellow legs. #2 didn't have the chipmunk look, but had a red dot behind the ears? none have grown tuffs yet. I do think the EE is a boy, he acts very fearless and is is too cute running around the coop while the big birds are roaming. He excites me, can't wait to see...

UPDATED PICS 1. The brown chick (EE?) all of his brown fluffy feathers turned white, except for black striping on his wings and heckle feathers (i think that is what they are called). I didn't know brown could turn to white, how exciting! You can see his profile on his face and belly...

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

Quote: could be, I thought that at first when I brought them home. I had them before and they looked like it as day old chicks, though they looked different as the feathers started to come in.

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

looked up welsummer and the chicks are supposed to have a V shape on their head when they hatch, this one was just a light redish brown color. no other shape/coloring when I got her. The feathers do look exactly like theirs though!

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

Last time I ordered straight run I ended up with a bunch of roo's. I didn't know it was 90% accurate. you're right, it is still worth the money if only to get a couple. I am going to look up welsummer chicks and see what they look like.

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

I was secretly hoping for a welsummer! I will post more pics as they grow. The second doesn't look like the EE they sent me. Has different coloring and the white chest feathers and no beard is questionable. As they get older we will know, I hope

This is my first time ordering only pullets, I ordered 25 and 25 came in the box, do they normally not give you what you order? should I not waste my money next time and just get straight run?

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

maybe it is a mutt bird they had, lol. They did ship some EE, and this one seems to be bigger than them too. I thought they were always hatched with the muff thingie.

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

I thought the first was RIR at first, but the banding did throw me off. the second one doesn't have the muffs though to be EE. The pic might not have been that clear.

    Can't figure These Out! *UPDATE*

I got a shipment of Dec. Surprize from Ideal, I am able to figure most of them out, but these two are giving me some trouble! I looked at the feather sit to try and see if I could tell what they are, but no luck. So I figured I would give you guys a try! I can try to get better pics if you need...
