quiltnchik- Patience, sometimes they are late too, remember Thermometers can read higher (making the temps lower) than the real temp.

I have had full hatches out on day 19, I think it has to due with the thermometer being off and the heat a little higher than normal (ie. 101.5 instead of 99.5) in my forced air LG incubator.
I know my thermometer is reading high in one spot and low in three others. So it is hard to decide...

The chick takes a few hours to dry & fluff, some have to be washed off.
They can stay in the incubator up to 3 days after hatching, as you wait for the others to hatch.
They are pretty sleepy when they hatch as it takes alot of effort to get out of the shell.

Chicken eggs are usually 21 days, at 99.5-101.5 depending on whether or not you have a fan in the incubator. sometimes however the temperature is not right and they take an extra few days to hatch. even the best thermometers can be off.
