    Both the big opening and the window need to be open. I know BC has high humidity and aart is spot on about a spring fix. Ventilation is still the answer. If the window is facing South, I myself would keep to wide open for airflow.

    Your window in the front is already a high point. Heat from the birds with the moisture will rise and exit the window as cool air is coming in from the register near the floor. I wish I was adept at adding a diagram to this post for you but I'm not. Need to get off my behind and learn.

    It sounds like you need some ventilation ports in the peak of the coop. One in each end will help. We installed a wall/ceiling heating register (15x25cm) from building depot store. Just cut hole in wall and screw in register. You can open or close the unit depending on need.
