LOL, Bee! I have had much more 'fowl' creatures besides quail! They are actually very low maintenance, and I have never noticed an odor.......although, I guess the smell from the geese covers it up!

We have them mainly to sell to hunters locally, but I will say that I really enjoy hearing the BEAUTIFUL sounds they make when they communicate. They are fun to watch when they interact with the females, and I have actually had males to sit on eggs while the female got up to eat.....
