If she is crying it's because she's in pain. Maybe some of that dried poop accidently got shoved up her hole and is hurting. I've never known a chick to cry without a reason. Check her cloaca (butt hole) and try gently with a Q-tip to see if something is there. Good luck, keep us posted on...
