    Sebastopols. A cash crop?

I have had both Embdens and Romans in the past, and they were white, smooth feathered birds with blue eyes. Except the Romans having tufts on their heads, they looked nearly identical.

I hate to take their pictures right now - they look horrible! but I will try tomorrow. My blue's feathers coming in on her wings are sticking out in all different directions. Is this normal?? Oh, I also want to add, part of the reason mine look so bad, the girls are recovering from being...

Mrs. Turbo : Does anyone want to buy 1 Sebastopol egg for $50...... Sure, but only if you'll give a written guarantee that it will absolutely definitely hatch - no matter how badly I mess up the incubation - and that the resulting gosling will be a superb exhibition quality Sebbie Oh, and...

This is my first year with the Sebbies, and I should have probably kept all 3 goslings, but we've had some problems here and I had a...

    Sebastopols. A cash crop?

Mrs. Turbo : Heck.....isn't the price of a regular gosling $10-$15 in some places? Yep, I paid $10 a head for day old Toulouse. And when I had purchased my Pilgrim Goslings, they were $25 a pair - as day olds.

    Sebastopols. A cash crop?

pips&peeps : An obvious point that I see wrong on 99% of birds being sold is they do not have a rounded forehead. Would you please talk about this more? Is there a picture of a correct rounded forehead somewhere that a newcomer to this breed like me could use for reference?

    Sebastopols. A cash crop?

I will step up and say I'm so green behind the ears when it comes to Sebbies that it's not funny. I've been doing a lot of reading - and picking brains - of people (like Foley's Waterfowl) to learn more about this beautiful goose.. Now having said that - before I owned them, or saw them in...
