Well I'm sorry but that is not the case. I don't own quail eggs so I'll use a quarter. I will probably get some photos on by tonight. I just thought it would be to better scale if I used a quail egg but you are right. I should just get to the point and use a quarter.

I will try to get some photos. I am trying not to move them right now and that hen in particular has been hiding her eggs somewhere and they are so small I can hardly find them in all the hay. If I find one I will definitely do a comparison. And yes I do find it odd on how small these eggs are...
Just another thing I wanted to share, my eggs are extremely small for chicken eggs. They are a little smaller then quail eggs, with the exception of one or two larger ones. I think things will still work out though.
