    Well I went and read our chick starter ingredients list again. It has a niacin supplement in it. My ducklings aren't deficient after all, whew'eee... I would die if I caused them leg probs.

    Thank you. I just read up on it more and apparently my niacin deficient ducklings are very lucky:) no leg problems here. Gosh, I would die if I caused them harm.

    What does Niacin do for ducks? I'm sure the answer is in this thread but I'm just now seeing this and I'm in a panic.... we have been feeding chick starter and did not know to add Niacin. Our ducklings just turned 10 wks old. HELP
