So many lovely breeds to choose from ~ though some are not available here ~ or super hard to get. In a perfect world I would have some of everything.

I love my Barred Rocks & they are excellent layers. Australorps are incredibly laid back. I would add a silver laced Wyandotte, a silver Campine, a speckled Sussex, & maybe a lavender cuckoo ameraucana. What I don't like are the redish birds ~ ISAs, RIRs, New Hampshires.
