It's all based on the diet. While they all eat the same pellet it doesn't mean they are all eating they same amount of it. Looks like some are enjoying the garden more than others.

I agree with you, with so many different selections of feed now days I believe is due to the feed now being marketed direct to consumer and not just the farmers. One feed supplier has to make there product stand out over the other. Different ingredients do not mean the product is good or bad but...
At what ratio would paprika or Chile powder need to be added to create a change? Or better yet what ratio not to exceed? Rough idea 1/2cup paprika to 50lb bag of feed? I could see it now wife starts to cook and says where in the world did the paprika go to.:idunno. :lau

@GreenMountainEric quick question for you. At what point/time frame do you consider poultry feed to be past it's freshness period? Not liking the dates I've been seeing on the bags recently. Let me add and this is NOT in regards to your products.
That I am not sure of. I used to use Poulin Grain layer feed which is produced right next to both of us in VT and I can tell you that I had really orange eggs when using their layer feed.
