For me, it's just the fact that I wouldn't want more of the standard because their size causes major health problems later in life. She was always porking out on the food, it's no wonder she was the biggest lady! :lau . I just wouldn't want to get another one and see it die the same way...

I've been pondering about BB bantys, are they good? My main standards are for petness and companionship, e.g, not being flighty, enjoys sitting on laps, and bonds well to one owner. Are they cold hardy, do they get heavy, do they lay sufficient amounts of eggs, etc? Any opinions on the breed...
