Info wanted on Batam Buff Brahmas! :)

For me, it's just the fact that I wouldn't want more of the standard because their size causes major health problems later in life. She was always porking out on the food, it's no wonder she was the biggest lady! :lau .

I just wouldn't want to get another one and see it die the same way. :rolleyes: .
My current BB is big (didn't know about the health issues because of weight), but the one I had a few years ago wasn't very heavy. She was an accident, and was supposed to be a breeder for Mt. Healthy Hatchery (not for sale, and probably not for in my hands). She actually would of probably been related to my current BB if I hadn't got her on accident.
 
My feedstore guy is pretty good to me, so I'll have to ask him next spring if he'd order some for me. 😏 .

I think I saw them on his chicken season list.

Checking the chicken list is always good. Even better if you know the distributor. ;)
