Nugget is a Black Laced Gold Wyandotte, and the one next to him is most certainly a Black Laced Silver. This is a common mistake, especially in hatcheries.

Recently, one of them has developed a tail that dips down at the end instead of straight. It's very odd. Could this possibly be a secret rooster?
In my opinion, nothing really screams rooster. The way she is standing almost makes me want to say cockerel, but that's probably just the way the photo is, since there isn't anything to back up my claim. Could I see a few more pics?
Straight combs are a common defect in hatchery quality Black Laced Golden Wyandottes. I actually kind of like it, although personally I do not own one.
It took some time to find this page, but I just had to post our official photoshoot for our two GLW girls! They are about 2 weeks now.
