Okay, snowpants probably would have been wise for going out to tend to the birds: Came up to about my knees. The deepest spots were around 20 inches, give or take because of snow compression and booties.

Okay, so I was wrong about the six inches between the peak and the windowframe. There was still 21 inches of snow on the roof, though. And it's still falling!

It's still coming down, but I think that we currently have about a foot or so. The deep bits are definitely more than that, though.
