Thank you so much to everyone who's helped me, and given advice, suggestions, feedback and their knowledge! I appreciate you all so much! Thank you Eggcessive, Wyorp Rock, Coach723, Casportpony, Stephine, Goldenwahintofboss, and anyone else I may have missed! And thank you Backyardchickens for...
Thank you! I really appreciate the good breakdown!
I'm wondering if it might be easier to just put the dose in a piece of bread or something and dose each chicken that way? Versus squirting it in their mouths.
Also, is there no egg withdrawal for the 2 doses at 10 days apart, versus egg...
Thank you so much coach723, that was all great explanations! I have so much to work with! I really appreciate all your knowledge and help! You're awesome!
I just read in another thread:
Fenbendazole is very safe to give to birds; studies have shown that a dosage up to 100 times the recommended dosage may have no side effects. However, ivermectin can be toxic to birds if the recommended dosage is exceeded. (Unlike with mammals where high dosages...
Thank you. May I ask, if Safeguard is so safe, why do I need the dose to be so specific? I understand under dosing would cause resistant parasites and also may not kill the parasites they have, but it seems odd to me that I would need to be so specific down to the ounce. I have 72 chickens (and...

Hi! Thanks for your reply!
Ok, that's what I thought, but then I got confused again. I just wrote to Eggcessive explaining why, if you don't mind scrolling up to read it.
Thank you for your reply!
Ok, I had decided not to give Corid since I believed it wasn't the issue. But then in other thread conversations someone mentioned treating them with Corid anyway for the reasons that: I've moved onto a new property, I have a bunch of odd poos (I just posted a bunch of...
