    Unless she is a project bird, I seriously doubt that she is paint. I haven't heard of anyone working on paints in the US--it would require either importing birds (very expensive) or crossing with another breed.

    Paint is based on dominant white; blue is not involved. That's about all I know.

    Unless in Europe, or someone has been working on a project , it is a splash. There is a genetic difference between splash & paint. (That phrasing just lends itself to puns, doesn't it) The background colour for splash can vary from white (or nearly so) to a medium-light blue.
