Many chicken people use the term cocci as a shortened term for coccidia. Technically, you are correct, but then cocci as you use it is also a shortened term for staphylococci, streptococci, etc.

You really need a faecal done by a vet--we can't look through the sample with a microscope.

Maxx, have you taken a fecal smaple to the vet? Looking for worms, coccidia and anything else that might be indicative? Not all coccidia are susceptable to the same meds, so it is still possible that it is coccidiosis, even though you have been treating with sulmet. It may well be something...

Maxx, what did you disenfect with? Some disenfectants are better than others, depending on the particular germs involved.
