Just noticed he is a year old. Did he ever have a round of parvo shots? You can buy the vaccines online and do them at home which is a good option especially for multiple pups/young dogs.

Fyi this will likely be expensive as the pup will probably be on sub-q fluids for 2-3 days. This is why a lot of people won't take their puppies out in public until they have had at least 2 parvo shots, and some people "quarantine" their houses and don't let anyone visit without sanitizing...
