Here are our Black and Blue Ameraucana chicks from Paul and Angela Smith. They are beautiful and hatched on Wednesday. Very spunky. This was their last hatch for sale for 2012. We feel so blessed to be able to receive some gorgeous show quality stock!

I hear peeping and we have one pip!!!!!!!!!! Oh my word this is a complete miracle!!!! I am crying. I just cannot believe we have had a baby survive after 4 power outages. Please pray it makes it out alive! I have 5 others with it but nothing and today is day 22.

They all still smell sweet as can be!

Going into lockdown tonight. Should I toss the ones that look empty? They are BCM's and difficult to see, but the two that are porous look like they stopped developing over a week ago. Will it hurt to leave them all be?

You give me hope. We go into lock down tomorrow and I have not candled for 3 days. I'll candle tonight before lock down. We still have 6 in the bator and I am hoping for at least 1 baby! I hope you get at least two! Keep us posted.
