If I had a way to give you some of these chicks I would. I don't need 10 of them. I have one Black Roo and I have a Lavender split chick and a lavender I can't wait to get started on this project.

Here are some pictures of some 2 week old Chocolate OEGB Bantams. They are actually Dun because they won't breed true. I can't wait until they feather out so I can get a better idea of the color they will be. If I understand right I should get Black, Brown and Splash, right now I am seeing...

That looks like Chocolate to me. If I understand the genetics of Chocolate you need to breed her back to one of her sons and you should get more of that color and then breed a Chocolate rooster to a her and the offspring should be all Choclolate.
What color where her parents? Are thpse...
I'm sure someone is out there breeding the Chocolate color and they are laying very low until they get something they can start selling to the public and making lots of $$$$
I Asked the same thing about breeding this color. I have seen posts where people were going to try and then nothing after that. Google Chocolate Orpington and look at the websites from the UK. They are beautiful! Unfornatley, the only breed that may carry the Chocolate gene in the United States...
