Just an update on the escape guinea that we caught in the trap Saturday. He's doin very good and his tail feathers are growing back. There has been no fighting with him being gone for a couple days then returning. Did I mention that I have yet to hear more than 4 of the guineas Buck-Wheat??

I used the feed I feed them. It was easy since he only stays at one tree all day. I have 6 guinea eggs due to hatch early december. Along with 5 call duck eggs.

Got him! Finally! We went to my grandpas and borrowed his havahart trap and I just came back inside from letting Mr/Mrs. Guinea back into the guinea coop.

That tree is about 50 feet high and everything you try to get him down with just makes him fly up higher.. He did fly down last night and I almost got him, but I got his tail feathers and some of those came out. He's back up there again this morning and this tree is about 70-80 feet in the air.

Look who decided to escape and fly up into the trees last night! I still havn't been able to catch him.
