    I also think it’s shipping stress. We live close enuf to Cackle to drive there and pick our chicks up. And those have been fine. Cackle will ship in Feb in cold weather, the post offices might have delays, and I wonder how the poor babies can survive.

    We had below freezing temps here in Missouri several mornings last week when they would have been shipping your chicks. We have bought chicks from Cackle, but we are close enough to drive there and pick them up to avoid shipping stress.
