how did you trap it?

is there anyway I can trap a racoon? will they come for something other then my chickens? I am seriously..I want to get rid of whatever did this!

BB I will look when I get home for talon punctures! I do know we have two big owls that live in the woods...If I see Talon punctures...they will not be living there long...or living at all!!! This Roo I raised with someone very important to me that is now in Iraq, so it had sentimental value...

It there a way to lure the owls back? Another decoy roo?

oh one more thing. There were feathers all over my yard...so the Roo fought what ever it was and his little legs had blood on them. Does that sound like an owl? or more Raccoon?

Dammit...I can believe either or...I have large Raccoons and owls. Welp guess I better just start shooting both

Why do they only take the head?

Last night I came home from work around 9pm and I never leave my chickens out at night. I found my Roo (who I loved very dearly) dead in my yard. He had no head and his head was completely gone (I couldnt find it) The decapitation seems pretty clear and nothing else was done to his body. My hens...
