    Really? You do get the odd one.... some silkies are mean I've heard. well I raised these from chicks and they are very friendly. We had THE LOVELIEST Japanese roo..... polite to us and the hens but always patrolling protectively… horrible fox :mad: .

    Haha... Our roos are such gentle fellows. Bantam roos are more mellow but still hen-protective...

    Haha they're roos! Polish lay quite well but not these ones... they used to have 2 sisters but a fox took care of that....:hmm....

    Polish and silkie, but they are more polish... funny though because their tails don't look polish and their parents were black and white and they are so gold.... :confused: Lovely though!

    Wow! My hybrids have massive gold mops, fuzzy down, and 9 toes each! Plus THE STRANGEST combs ever- mix between rose, 3-pointer and a V-comb...:idunnoThey are pretty though!

    I know and its nice! It can really up the appreciation of barnyarders. but I don't think they'll ever have the same respect as purebreds..,. and with good reason though, some would say.
