Update on the mystery chick color - more feathers have come in (sorry I didn't get a pic today but will try to soon) - so far the chick is all white! When do the splash markings come in? Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your input! I am still a newbie to silkies, and was kind of hoping I had some new mysterious color - but I'm absolutely thrilled with these healthy and adorable chicks! I will post pics as the chicks mature.

I don't know about a buff egg - I don't think the breeder raises buffs. The chick also has gray on it. The breeder does raise lavenders. Could it be lavender? or porcelain? Thanks! Melissa
