Poor sweet thing. She looks to be in ok health now- her feathers are nice and filled out. But yes, she is meant to be quite small.

She reminds me of a feral hen I met on Maui, Hawai’i. I’d bet she’ll be her spitting image when she grows up. Sorry, the pics not great. But the hen had a shaded small single comb, lightly feathered legs, and the same pattern.

She’s adorable. Probably won’t be more than a pound or two as an adult so keep that in mind when looking for another chicken. She’s a “bantam” aka mini chicken.

Cool! It’s a little girl, probably of a mixed breed. Definitely a girl- the vet needs to do their research. :p

Before we answer that is it all alone? It should have a flock. And a coop.
