Does anyone know what breed and gender my 9 week old chicken is?

Does anyone know what kind of chicken I have and what gender it is! I think it’s a hen but the vet said it was possibly a roo!

Cool! It’s a little girl, probably of a mixed breed. Definitely a girl- the vet needs to do their research.

She’s adorable. Probably won’t be more than a pound or two as an adult so keep that in mind when looking for another chicken. She’s a “bantam” aka mini chicken.

It's a bit early to tell, but I'll say pullet. Maybe a Old English Game cross or something like that.

She reminds me of a feral hen I met on Maui, Hawai’i. I’d bet she’ll be her spitting image when she grows up.
Sorry, the pics not great. But the hen had a shaded small single comb, lightly feathered legs, and the same pattern.

Thank you! I was worried she might be malnourished cause she seemed small and I rescued her from a horribly neglectful situation!
