Alien = where did that crest come from when I have no crested birds. But yeah, they are normal enough for barnyard mixes. ;)

I have a couple of chicks (about 6 weeks old now), that seem to have come from somewhere alien. As in...I can't figure out who their parents are! One is developing a crest and has ear muffs, the other has no crest and no muffs but otherwise looks identical. Pretty sure they are both pullets...
