    I have 4 coops for 12 chickens. :rolleyes: I might have mentioned that before. It's just what happens if you start off with inadequate space in the coop. Normally I allow the chickens to choose their coop, but right now I have two of them occupied with two cockerels who are in that crazy...

    Oh, and another cleaning secret -- on two of my smaller coops I can open the roof itself for cleaning. A bit difficult when it's raining, and I have to move quickly, but still doable.

    Hi! :frow Welcome to BYC! IMHO both coops combined are not enough space for 10 chickens. I'm curious as to why you want them to roost together. Why not allow them to roost in whichever coop they want? I have 4 coops for my chickens and usually allow them to go into whichever one they want...
