Yes! I love scrolling back thru pics and seeing how they change! My other breeds don't go through so much of a total transformation as the seramas do.

That's yall. He backed out anyway. But I know what you mean. I have one little fella that had a red comb very very early, but he's very small, and is still immature seeming. Another one that is much bigger, very little redness in his comb, I'm even still wondering if he's a she, by looks. But...

Question for you guys.... How soon do you notice males start mating? I have an offer for a couple of my adult roosters, but its the only 2 that I have fertilizing eggs now. My younger ones are 10 weeks old. How long until they take over the duties? I know the hens can go without for a...

Thanks for that. Luckily, she was off the nest this morning. There was an egg in the box, but it was pretty cool, so I assume she was just laying late, and got caught in the box at dark. And LOL at ditzy mommas. Very true. I also found a new egg out in the run this morning. It was...

Since I'm hatching so many seramas, I did some pen swapping last week. They are now in a double pen, with a fence down the middle that is open now, but can be closed if necessary for smaller ones on one side. The girls have access to 2 boxes and have been using both this week. Now she is sitting...

Good luck! And that's interesting. I'll have to pay more attention as I get smaller ones. I had a horrible hatch from my shipped eggs. Dang post office! Only hatched 2 of 8 that started growing. 2 quit on day 8, 6 locked down. One pipped big, then quit! One hatched fine, the other I assisted...

Awesome! Good luck to you also. Brinsea Spot Check is a good one, but on the expensive side. Best bet are the ones made for reptile cages or aquariums, get at the pet store.
