How/why did you start with ducks?
I have been trying to garden here in Colorado for quite some time. Despite being in a semi-arid area, I am over run with slugs. I read someplace (no idea where) that ducks LOVED slugs. Since beer bait, poisoning, and picking slugs off of plants never seamed to make a dent in the slug population...
