All you can do is see if the antibiotics help, but the pus will need to be removed, chicken pus does not dry up on its own.
What antibiotic did he leave for you to give?
A bad odor might indicate Infectious Coryza.
There's plenty of videos on YouTube and 1000s of threads on this site addressing pressing pus from a chicken's eye. You would press out of the eye.
Where are you located in the world?
If the farmer/owner left instructions how to care for them, then perhaps it's best to speak with them about further treatment/care.
Are there any lesions or mucous inside the beak?
Pus around the eye needs to be pressed out, but since these are not your chickens, then consulting a vet would be...
